Seattle Schools Family Resources

Seattle Public Schools is committed to providing excellence in education for every student.

Multilingual Feature

We serve the city of Seattle. Our students speak more than 140 languages or dialects. The top five languages spoken by families and students are: Spanish, Somali, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Amharic.

Seattle Public Schools publishes important information to help families support their students on key webpages with text that has been translated by a person rather than a computer.

Not all our webpages are published in this way. If you visit a webpage that does not have the language links, you may use Google translate, located in the top right corner.
